The BV bank financial conglomerate is owned by Grupo Votorantim, one of the world’s largest industrial conglomerates, and Banco do Brasil, the second largest financial institution in Latin America. Both shareholders are rated as investment grade by the three major international rating agencies – Fitch, Moody’s and S&P.

The strategic partnership was structured with Banco do Brasil’s acquisition of 49.99% of the voting capital and 50% of the total share capital of BV bank.
